We scoured San Francisco to find the best plant-based dishes for you to enjoy whether you’re plant-based, flexitarian, omnivorous, vegan, or simply enjoy delicious food. Plant-based food doesn’t have to be a boring burger or a bland salad — there are vegan versions of just about any dish you can think of.

Did you know you can find plant-based food at almost every restaurant? Simply download the Kompas app to start browsing all of the plant-based menu options at restaurants nearby!

Why choose plant-based? Because it’s better for you, for our planet, and all its inhabitants. For instance, it takes 660 gallons of water to produce a quarter pound of beef - that’s equivalent to showering for two months! I mean, seriously, how could anyone eat something this cute?!
