National Doughnut Day: The Best Plant-Based Donuts in the US

To do or do-nut, that is the question. Not really, the answer to doughnuts is always yes. It’s no wonder there’s an entire day (June 7th) to celebrate this classic breakfast /dessert of pillowy perfection —  the ideal vehicle for sweet toppings from sprinkles to [plant-based] bacon. I’ve waited in line with my dad and brother at Krispy Kreme for hours as a kid to try their coveted glaze donuts, brought boxes of donuts into the office to win over clients, and found myself waking up on most Sundays craving these magical creations.
